The Spine Twist
The spine twist can really help to loosen up your back and your hips. Begin your stretch by lying flat on your back with your arms straight out to the sides of your body. Now lift your right leg to where your calf and thigh make a 90 degree angle. Keep your left leg straight. Now twist to the left until your right knee can almost touch the floor on your left side. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds or longer. Switch legs and repeat the stretch on the opposite side.

The Sitting Calf Stretch
Try out the sitting calf stretch. Begin your stretch by sitting on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you. Lift the bottom of your right foot and plant it just above your left knees. Make sure that the outsides of your right leg are touching the floor. Now straighten both arms and reach for your left foot. Hold onto your left foot as you bring your forehead to your thigh. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds. Switch legs and repeat the stretch.
